AI has the potential to change this, but only if the underlying data is structured enough for AI agents to reason over it reliably, not just summarize it. Faro is the structured data and AI infrastructure for clinical development. Teams use Faro to design their protocols, capture structured intent behind every design decision, and run AI agents that optimize the schedule of activities, quantify protocol complexity, and benchmark study design against industry frameworks, all with traceability and human oversight built in. Faro's platform is used by six of the world's ten largest pharmaceutical companies to design and operationalize clinical studies, reduce amendment risk, and scale AI-enabled workflows responsibly.
