finQbit officially welcomed Zbigniew Jagiello as Strategic Advisor.

finQbit is a European deep-tech company building quantum-ready infrastructure for quantitative finance. We develop practical applications of quantum computing for real-world financial challenges, including interest rate modelling, market risk and Monte Carlo simulations. Our approach is pragmatic: helping financial institutions prepare for the quantum era by delivering solutions that can be evaluated and adopted progressively as the technology matures. Our team combines experienced quantitative finance practitioners with leading researchers. Among them is Professor Dariusz Gątarek, co-author of the internationally recognised BGM interest rate model. Beyond our research, we have had the opportunity to present our work to quantitative teams and industry audiences at eg. HSBC, ING, the CQF Institute or J.P. Morgan, discussing practical applications of quantum computing for financial modelling and risk management. FinQbit is co-financed by the European Funds Project: Development of the finQbit platform with modules for the practical application of Quantum Machine Learning in risk modelling and financial analytics. Aim: The objective is to help financial institutions build practical understanding of Quantum Machine Learning by experimenting with QML methods on finance-oriented examples. Tasks and final result: Key tasks will include the development of interactive QML modules covering data preparation, feature encoding, model training, benchmarking and result analysis. The modules will be based on practical financial use cases and integrated with the existing finQbit platform. Target group: The product is primarily targeted at financial institutions such as banks, investment funds, and insurance companies.
