FM Talent Partners is a specialist recruitment partner to the US facilities management industry, built around one focus: placing the operational and commercial leaders who keep facilities, portfolios, and integrated FM programs running. We work across the FM ecosystem, from integrated facilities management (IFM) providers and single-line service firms (hard services such as mechanical, electrical, and critical systems; soft services such as cleaning, security, and grounds) to in-house corporate real estate and facilities teams managing multi-site or multi-state portfolios. Our placements typically sit at the middle and senior management level: regional and multi-site operations managers, facilities directors, VPs of Facilities or Corporate Real Estate, and functional leaders accountable for budget, vendor performance, and service delivery across large or complex estates. The US FM market is highly fragmented and scaling fast, with providers and in-house teams competing for a narrow pool of leaders who can operate across multiple states, vendor networks, and compliance regimes. That scarcity is where we focus. We operate two core engagement models. Contingent search, for time-sensitive vacancies where speed to shortlist matters. Retained search, for senior or business-critical roles where a structured, exclusive process reduces risk and protects confidentiality. FM hiring is different from generalist recruitment. The right candidate needs to combine hard operational competence, covering compliance, uptime, safety, and vendor management, with the commercial fluency to sit in front of a client or a board. Finding that combination takes sector depth, not just a database search. We also support a smaller number of UK-based FM searches for clients with transatlantic operations.
