Full Suspension LLC is kicking off a series titled Brain Week featuring a complete service and overhaul of a Specialized / FOX Brain shock from a 2011 Specialized Stumpjumper.

Shock absorbers are the link between you and the road. In order for your tires to maintain traction with the road shocks need to do their job. They support the weight of you and the vehicle, they lessen the impact with bumps and make the terrain more desirable, and the damper assembly slows (or absorbs) the vertical movement of the tire to maintain traction and slows the rebound (or opposite movement) of the shock to maintain traction.
