We’re Gateway Housing Association. A community-based housing provider serving East London, with roots going back to 1926. We’ve been providing affordable housing and supporting communities for over 100 years. Today we manage around 3,000 homes (and counting!) across Tower Hamlets, in Hackney and Newham. Most of our homes are social rent, and we’re proud to be the Tower Hamlets' leading provider of sheltered housing and care for older residents. Beyond bricks and mortar, we’re proud to invest in the communities we’re part of. From funding local projects through our Community Chest and Environmental Improvement grants, to supporting residents into work and training, and offering welfare and financial guidance to people in our community who need it. As members of the L12 group of London housing associations, we’re also working alongside our peers to help tackle the capital’s housing crisis. Our purpose is simple. We’re here to provide great homes for people in East London and help communities thrive.
