Genesis Homes officially launched its first dedicated school engagement programme called Next Gen, which will roll out across Cumbria.

Genesis Homes is an established Cumbrian business borne out of big ambitions. Founded as a company in 2017, we're proud to have built over 750 homes across Cumbria with exciting growth plans to expand into Lancashire. Collectively as a team, we have an imposing wealth of experience to draw from covering all aspects of the house building industry. The founders and employees of the company have over 100 years of house building experience between them. Genesis Homes was formed with a simple objective ‘to create quality, vibrant and welcoming housing developments’; it was borne out of a desire to offer a much better product, and in turn a well-managed process in the house building industry. Our founder, Nicky Gordon, has an inspiring vision that we leave a legacy of not only building homes that stand the test of time, but creating a lasting community where social warmth, security in our neighbours, and aspiration is identifiable. Our goal is simple: to integrate seamlessly into each area, to listen, to collaborate, and to add long-term value to the places we build and help communities thrive. From shared spaces and events on our developments to bring people together, inspiring the next generation via school engagement activities, to getting involved with community projects that matter to local people, communities are at the heart of everything we do.
