About GENOSKIN
Genoskin is a contract research organization (CRO) and supplier of human skin models and primary mast cells, transforming drug development with expertise in skin biology and immunology. Using donated human skin and proprietary preservation technologies, Genoskin provides immunocompetent ex vivo platforms that enable more translational, human-relevant testing than traditional animal or engineered models, in line with evolving FDA Modernization Act 2.0 expectations. Founded in 2011, Genoskin offers advanced solutions to evaluate immune responses, injection site reactions, and skin toxicity across therapeutics, biologics, vaccines, medical devices, and chemicals. By combining next-generation sequencing, advanced imaging, and expert guidance, Genoskin helps pharmaceutical, biotech, and cosmetics companies generate robust human data to accelerate development with confidence. In September 2025, Genoskin raised €8M ($8.7M) led by OCCTE (FPCI Occidev Impacts), with Captech Santé, GSO Innovation, CA Toulouse 31 Initiatives, and additional non-dilutive support from Bpifrance and banking partners. This funding supports workforce growth, global commercial expansion—especially in Europe and Asia—and scaling operations through US and France facility expansion. Genoskin is also advancing immune-centric services, next-generation human immune models, and biosimulation platforms to meet rising demand for ethical, human-relevant alternatives to animal testing. Headquartered in North America and Europe, Genoskin operates R&D and production facilities in Salem, Massachusetts (USA) and Toulouse, France, with ~50 employees.
