German Aerospace Center (DLR) launched the HAP-alpha unbemannte, solar-powered high-altitude platform for unpowered flight, achieving its first flight over the DLR National Testing Center for Unbanned Flight Systems in Cochstedt at 70 minutes with a maximum altitude of 180 meters.
