About Global Waste Lab
Global Waste Lab works with funders, governments and practitioners across the Global South to build the people and systems behind effective, sustainable waste management. We take a practical, people-centred approach grounded in decades of experience. Our work strengthens local leadership, improves decision-making and helps teams design waste and circular economy systems that communities can run, afford and maintain. Through the Global Waste Lab Academy, we train and support emerging waste managers, giving them the skills and confidence to lead change where they live. Through the Global Waste Lab Studio, we partner with funders and institutions to design and strengthen waste systems using our Seed · System · Scale method - a simple, structured way to create clarity, build capacity and support long-term resilience. Our mission is to ensure that waste solutions are locally led, financially realistic and built to last - reducing risk for funders while improving outcomes for communities.
