Granite Hearth is a New England based nonprofit strengthening the connections between people and the essential resources that help community members build skills for fulfilling careers, strong relationships, and healthy lives. Through innovative programs, hands on learning, community events, and research, we support youth, families, and communities as they thrive in a rapidly changing world. What we do Digital literacy and access We connect communities to the digital world to improve health, economic mobility, and civic participation by building local capacity for digital literacy. We coach and train Digital Navigators through one to one and group support, provide curriculum and practical tools, and help partners deliver sustainable programs. When needed, we support access with devices and guidance on affordable connectivity options. STEM knowledge and career exposure We expand meaningful STEM experiences, with a special focus on career aligned STEM kits that introduce advanced manufacturing and related fields such as automation, robotics, engineering, and high tech innovation. We also support educator training and curriculum development so hands on STEM learning can be implemented effectively, and we offer evaluation and improvement tools to strengthen impact over time. Connection and belonging through in person experiences We create opportunities for face to face interaction that build social skills, confidence, and belonging. That includes community trainings and interactive activities such as youth sports and other community events that deepen relationships and strengthen community ties.
