Heidelberg Materials UK expanded its recycling capabilities in Leeds with a new CD&E waste recycling facility that accepts bricks, concrete, and soil and processes around 250,000 tonnes a year.

We produce aggregates (crushed rock, sand and gravel), asphalt, cement, concrete and recycled materials. Our principal markets are the major conurbations in England and Wales and the central belt of Scotland. We employ around 3,500 people in jobs ranging from specialist and professional managers through to production operatives.
