About Help and Kindness - Alacrify Foundation CIC
Welcome to #HelpAndKindness, run by Alacrify Foundation CIC The Alacrify Foundation has developed from over 25 years of charitable and voluntary work by Alacrify Ltd and its Directors. It exists to support the civil society networks within Dorset; including charities, voluntary groups, support businesses and the public sector, to improve service access and strengthen the resilience of these service providers. We enable people across Dorset to find help. give help, and work together. We offer a signposting service called Dorset's Community Response. Our team helps people in person to find the support they're looking for. This includes everything from personal care and support to live at home, through to education and training, physical activities, hobbies and cultural events, as well as peer and community support. We support people and organisations to work better together - contributing to NHS and Local Authority programmes across Dorset by linking in our local communities to the big programmes of change that are being developed in our public sector. This includes supporting changes to adult and children's services, creating family hub and mental wellness networks, as well as helping with the local design and implementation of the 10 Year Plan for the NHS, Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, Neighbourhood Health, Equality and Inclusion programmes, and supporting with many other strategic developments in our public sector. We also spend lots of our time with community members, residents and their representatives from across the county, including MPs, Councillors, and community leaders. Our mission in this part of our work is to support and build connections that enrich and nuture strong community growth. We're always open to discussions and ideas and listening to people's experiences. If you'd like to get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.
