Hesser Packaging GmbH built the PackLab to test how new packaging materials, including mono-materials, run on a packaging machine.

The name Hesser is associated with nothing less than the cradle of the packaging industry. In 1861, Friedrich Hesser and Otto Geiger founded the company Geiger & Hesser, which later became part of Bosch Packaging Technology, now Syntegon. 165 years after Hesser pioneered the packaging industry, we are continuing the historic legacy with Hesser Packaging. Starting February 1, 2026, the new Syntegon subsidiary Hesser Packaging GmbH will be responsible for new machinery, service, and valves in the field of primary packaging for dry foods such as coffee, flour, and sugar. This includes, but is not limited to, technological solutions such as PME, PMX, PKD, PKS, HPLD, FVS, and KWE. Hesser benefits from Syntegon’s global resources and expertise. At the same time, the new, more independent structure gives us greater flexibility in responding to your needs with speed and precision.
