Home-Start Suffolk is looking for a Community Fundraiser to build relationships, develop new fundraising opportunities, and help generate income for the company.

We believe that everything begins with family. And that Suffolk should be a place where families never have to struggle in silence behind closed doors. We give the time to support families of every kind, helping them to find self-belief through small but significant steps. Every family is individual. So we carefully match hundreds of families every year with over 250 exceptionally well-trained volunteers. They become professional friends, giving time and opening the door to understanding by ensuring families are seen, heard and understood without judgement. From calls to group sessions and home visits, we’re there to provide help based on a family’s specific challenges at that moment in their lives. We’re independent but create a vital bridge to other local charities and statutory services, helping families to navigate the support they need and take that next small step to where they deserve to be.
