About Hvild

Women tend to have far higher levels of sick leave from work than men. While women account for almost 50% of the workforce, the proportion reaching senior positions is far lower. Women are also far more likely to be in part time jobs than men, and in many industries it is difficult to recruit women for senior positions. Research shows that undiagnosed and / or untreated symptoms from menopause and women's cyclical health are major reasons for the gender difference in work place participation. Hvild offers a digital platform for employers that take women's health seriously, and that want to support their female employees in living the best lives they can. The Hvild women's occupational health platform offers information, training, best practice handbooks and certification options for women's health friendly employers. Hvild also offers advisory and consulting services to support employers in providing the best possible working environment for women to perform and grow. The gains are an increased quality of life for women, but also reduced costs and increased efficiency for employers and society at large. The subsidiary Hvild Life & Health offers the world's first menopause health insurance. The main benefit is to ensure that no women need to go through menopause unsupported , or without getting the specialized medical attention and treatment that they need. The insurance is offered as an Employee Benefit, with premiums paid by the employer, and with female employees as the beneficiaries. It is designed an add-on cover to existing health insurance, includes the Hvild digital platform, and is supported by major reinsurance.
