About ICEE.Space
ICEE.Space is a Space Start-Up dedicated to enabling sustainable human presence beyond Earth. Our long-term vision is to develop and deploy inflatable habitats and critical infrastructure within lunar lava tube s—naturally shielded environments that offer protection from radiation, micrometeorites, and extreme temperature fluctuations. By combining lightweight, rapidly deployable inflatable structures with in-situ resource utilization strategies, we aim to create scalable, resilient living and working environments on the Moon. We realize this vision through rigorous short-term action on Earth. ICEE.Space conducts analog astronaut test campaigns in extreme and isolated environments, including CHILL-ICE, APICES, and ADAMA. These missions simulate the operational, environmental, and psychological challenges of planetary exploration while field-testing technologies at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 3 to 6. Through iterative prototyping and real-world validation, we accelerate and de-risk your company's products or university proof of concepts e.g. maturation of habitat systems, life-support concepts, deployment mechanisms, and operational protocols. In parallel, ICEE.Space provides specialized space trainings and educational programs to prepare scientists, engineers, and explorers for future missions. Our work bridges research, industry, and hands-on mission experience, fostering a new generation of space professionals. Beyond space exploration, our technologies have immediate terrestrial applications. Through Project LIFELINE, we are developing inflatable habitat systems as rapidly deployable field hospitals for extreme and high-risk locations on Earth—delivering robust medical infrastructure where it is needed most. By aligning lunar ambition with Earth-based impact, ICEE.Space transforms exploration technologies into solutions that serve humanity today and tomorrow.
