Illuminare Biotechnologies closed its oversubscribed Series B financing.

Illuminare Biotechnologies is a clinical stage biotechnology company focused on intra-operative nerve visualization to reduce the risk of nerve damage. Our proprietary lead candidate, Illuminare-1(rizedisben), is a small molecule fluorophore with an immediate onset of action and sustained duration of nerve illumination. The Phase 1 study of Illuminare-1 (rizedisben), conducted at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, demonstrated a favorable safety and tolerability profile and identified 3.0 mg/kg as the clinically effective dose for improved nerve visualization. The company is planning to initiate its Phase 2 Study in Breast Reconstruction in the 2nd half of 2026.
