The Insights Career Network (ICN) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit built to protect—and strengthen—the people who power the research and insights profession. In a time of increased and rapid disruption, ICN exists as the industry’s “career infrastructure”: a trusted, peer-led community that helps insights professionals stay employed, stay relevant, and stay connected—and helps organizations sustain the talent pipeline the industry depends on. Why ICN exists now The insights profession is undergoing existential change: a post-COVID reset, accelerating AI adoption, shrinking teams, and escalating expectations for “do-everything” candidates. The people whom we have trained for decades to understand the worlds and behaviors of our users, our customers, and our options are hurting from successive industry setbacks and continuous slow growth.
