About Kids Above All
At Kids Above All, we believe young people who have experienced trauma can become independent adults who live meaningful, productive lives. Since 1894, our mission has been to protect, heal and educate children and families so they can build better lives. Last year, Kids Above All served 4,540 young people and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties, who experienced trauma. We are experts in trauma-informed care, helping our youth on their healing journey so they can have the best possible life. Our programs include early childhood learning for children living in poverty, foster care and adoption services for youth who have suffered abuse and neglect, housing for teens and homeless young adults, and counseling.
