Established in 2007 by Drs. Sam and Leslie Lynch, the Life Science Tennessee Foundation seeks to change lives through science. We do that by helping Tennesseans learn about and love science, growing our workforce with a focus on post-secondary education programs, and fostering business development by supporting entrepreneurs in the science community. As a 501c3 nonprofit foundation, we were formed to inspire Tennessee learners young and old to explore and be successful in the sciences. Whether that’s promoting research, enabling diverse cohorts of trailblazers, or pushing the limits of what science can do, the Life Science Tennessee Foundation is always ready to support innovation. Our primary current efforts are focused around: 1) Supporting life science startups as they seek to commercialize their technologies; 2) Supporting workforce development programs that engage students, researchers and companies; and 3) Encouraging programs and policies that enable more access to capital for life science technologies.
