About Lithuanian Laser Association
The Lithuanian Laser Association (LLA) unites the participants of the Lithuanian laser and other photonics technology sector. LLA brings together institutions and companies to develop activities in the field of "Photonic and Laser Technologies", which is one of the components of the Smart Specialisation R&D priorities ("New Production Processes, Materials and Technologies") approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. The aim of the Association is to cooperate and concentrate the efforts of its members on targeted activities to make the laser and light technology (photonics) sector (science, studies, industry) one of the key elements of Lithuania's competitiveness. Today, the sector boasts a robust and dynamic ecosystem made up of highly skilled professionals, cutting-edge research institutions, and a strong business community that collaborates on a global scale. Lithuanian laser companies are known for their exceptional quality and precision, offering customized solutions that serve various industries, from medicine to manufacturing. Continuous national and business investments in research and development have ensured that Lithuanian lasers remain at the forefront of technology and serve as a symbol of national pride and a significant contributor to the country's economy.
