MassVentures is administering the fall round of the Catalyst Program administered jointly by Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and MassVentures.

Launched in 1978 as the Commonwealth’s strategic venture capital team, MassVentures provides catalytic funding and support for seed-stage deep tech enabled by university and hospital research centers. We are a vital, comprehensive resource for entrepreneurs offering investment, non-dilutive grants, technical support and business guidance. MassVentures is a venture development firm at its core with an emphasis on academic spinouts. We seek to identify ideas at the very earliest prototype stage and help convert those ideas into thriving businesses and jobs to support the economic growth initiatives of the Commonwealth.
