About Media Scholars Program
The Media Scholars Program is a national initiative designed to empower the next generation of diverse storytellers in media, sports, and entertainment. Launched in New Orleans, the program provides college students with hands-on access to world-class events such as the Super Bowl, HBCU Legacy Bowl, U.S. Gymnastics Championships, and cultural festivals. Through mentorship, professional training, and exclusive event access, scholars gain the skills, networks, and experience needed to launch successful careers. Our mission is to amplify underrepresented voices, build equity in media, and create a sustainable pipeline of talent ready to shape the future of storytelling. π Headquartered in New Orleans, expanding to cities nationwide. π― Mission: Access. Mentorship. Opportunity. π Vision: A national community of media leaders changing the face of the industry.
