MEDIALEX is a trusted platform for community-created news, information, and entertainment. MEDIALEX amplifies local voices that reflect and connect our multilingual, multicultural, multigenerational community. We provide tools, training, and technology for volunteers to create original content across radio, podcasts, and video. We provide local news & information in multiple languages through fact-based reporting by trusted members of the community. We entertain by celebrating the music, art, food, talent, and culture of our community. We value free speech and offer opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and fearless exchange of ideas. We champion media literacy by exploring how media shapes ideas, opinions; how people are seen and understood; and guarding against bias and misinformation. We are a civic resource for the public good existing for the benefit, health, enjoyment, and safety of everyone in our community.
