About Mid-Hudson Energy Transition
Mid-Hudson Energy Transition (MHET) is a Kingston-based nonprofit building a local, democratic energy future for the Hudson Valley. We help communities share in clean renewable energy, make homes and buildings healthier, and create wealth that stays local - with a focus on communities that have historically been left out of these opportunities. Our work is community-centered and equity-driven. We partner with residents, businesses, local governments, and grassroots leaders to develop renewable energy projects, reduce energy burdens, and finance building retrofits that make homes more comfortable, healthier, and less costly to run. We believe a just energy transition is possible and that it starts here, with the people who call this place home. 🌎 www.mid-hudson.energy
