The Midlands Net Zero Hub helps organisations across the region to identify, develop and deliver a range of projects and programmes to support the country's Net Zero Agenda. Working in partnership with the UK Government through the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, the Hub is supporting an evolving programme of works through project development to delivery of innovative low-carbon technologies that progresses the decarbonisation agenda. We help to stimulate supply chains, grow the green economy, and enhance sustainable investment opportunities across the Midlands. The Hub’s Regional Team has an Energy Projects Officer in each local enterprise partnership (LEP) area, providing a local face in each part of the region, while reporting into the Hub’s accountable body, Nottingham City Council. We pride ourselves in rapid communication and knowledge sharing between each of the LEP areas, allowing us to support the development of low carbon projects and programmes at scale. In addition to the energy projects supported, the Midlands Net Zero Hub is delivering large-scale domestic retrofit schemes across the region, supporting community energy projects, facilitating national schemes, and more.
