Misen comes from "mise en place"—a cheffy term that means “to put in place.” For us, it means having the right tools to prep, cook, and serve with confidence, whether you're a beginner cook or a seasoned pro. We’re a small group of passionate home cooks and product experts who've been living our dream of making great cookware for over a decade. We launched our first-ever product on Kickstarter back in 2015: a premium Chef’s Knife that we still sell today. The project wildly exceeded our goal, raising over $1 million and setting Kickstarter records. Since then, we’ve slowly grown into a full-fledged cookware company. We make products that we want to use in our own kitchens to make cooking easier, less stressful, and more efficient.
