MyPlusID and Althing attended the Global Digital Collaboration Conference in Geneva from 1 to 3 September 2026.

We have created MyPlusID as our group´s vehicle to promote digital trust and identity services in Southeast Asia. We are set at attracting highly motived and idealistic people to make an impact and create a trusted digital universe. We are passionate about the long-term potential of decentralized digital identity infrastructures based on self-sovereign identity technology, orchestrating best available technologies to promote digital trust. We see benefits for society, for public entities, for private firms and for citizens, that will transform the digital ecosystem in any country that embark on decade long deployment in their society. We founded MyPlusID based on 5 years of experience with idealistic commitment to decentralized identities, deep knowledge of the self-sovereign identity technology (SSI), and the need of markets in the Southeast Asia. We ambition to take a leading role in the region which really needs this provisioning and deployment of digital trust, which needs to be SSI based. We are driving the SSI movement forward from Malaysia, from Southeast Asia to the world. Our vision is a new state of internet - a web 4.0, that is totally secure and allows privacy on a global stage; with power evenly distributed and trust widely established. We see a future inclusive digital space with sovereign citizens, where every person, every business and every government on earth have a digital identity they truly own. Our mission is to take a defining role in Southeast Asia's digital future. We will advise on security and identity issues and deliver decentralised digital identity services that are private, secure, easy-to-use, trusted and widely accepted to firms, citizens and organisations globally. We take the challenge to make agentic AI work both practically and ethically where our offerings will allow governance of legal and ethical AI.
