National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) notes that Duke University School of Medicine and Duke Eye Center are closing the gap in vision rehabilitation training for Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) students, embedding them in the Eye Center for at least 350 hours of clinical training alongside ophthalmologists, optometrists, and OT practitioners like Omar Mohiuddin, OTR/L, CLVT, with graduates immediately eligible for the CLVT exam.
