National Forest Foundation completed a multi-year $4.9 million restoration effort for the Hanging Lake Trail, fully reconstructing it with over 1,000 hand-built stone steps, seven new bridges, a new boardwalk, and infrastructure designed to withstand challenges.

The NFF works with communities and organizations to conserve and enhance the watersheds, wildlife habitat and wild places across our 193-million-acre National Forest System.
