Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) experts Hope Thompson, Ph.D. and Alfonso Pating have projected how close each state is to a full-blown insurance crisis by looking at four key indicators including projected hazard damage, rising insurance costs, increase in dropped coverage, and reliance on last-resort plans.
