Hello and welcome to EV Review Ireland, Ireland's No 1 EV YouTube Channel. My name is Derek Reilly and I’m Ireland’s first EV only reviewer. What do I mean by that? There are lots of car vloggers and bloggers out there, motoring journalists and they focus on all types of vehicles where I'm specifically focusing on battery electric vehicles. I won’t be reviewing hybrids, mild hybrids, soft hybrids or even plug in electric hybrids. I especially won’t be reviewing self charging hybrids 😉. Why am I only reviewing electric vehicles? I think they are the future and I’m going to focus this channel on that. It’s not an ideal time to set up a channel with a global pandemic sweeping the world and I can't get out into cars. Once we get out and about again I’m looking to produce quality reviews that answer the questions that EV drivers and EV curious have to ask. We'll be reviewing everything from electric cars and mopeds all the way up vans and trucks and everything in-between. We've had such a great response to my reviews on www.theeffect.net. I've been writing electric vehicle reviews since 2019 that we are going to continue the written reviews on that website but we decided to launch the youtube channel and the twitter account (@EVReviewIreland).
