NM Tech Talks hosted the official New Mexico Tech Week Kickoff Party at Hollow Spirits Distillery on Monday, October 26.

NM Tech Talks is a collaborative of tech organizations working together to bring an inclusive tech community in New Mexico. Our mission is to unify tech organizations in NM and break down silos between groups via co-branded events and initiatives. We currently have nine member organizations: NMClimate, Techqueria NM, Google Developer Group, Software Social Club ABQ, M'tucci's, NMClimate, HealthInno, NM Angels, and STEM Boomerang. It all started with TechFest in 2024, which was the largest free tech conference in Abq. TechFest was co-organized by Techqueria New Mexico and Google Developers Group Albuquerque. Today, our Tech Talks event is an evolution of TechFest, with co-organizers planning events together to build an ecosystem vs. only individually planned events. NM Tech Talks organizes two large events a year: TechFest and Desert Dev Lab Software Hackathon. The organization also spearheads New Mexico Tech Week, hosting its inaugural event in October 2026.
