North East & Yorkshire Net Zero Hub published its 2026 Annual Report titled Energising Communities.

Energy demand across the North East and Yorkshire is projected to double in the next decade. The North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub is playing a leading role in making sure our region has the energy it needs to power our homes and businesses – and our wider economy. We're part of a national network of Net Zero Hubs in England, funded and directed by government to support local areas with the development of energy projects and managed locally in a partnership of the region's six Combined Authorities.
