Northline Industrial is developing a railcar service and industrial logistics facility at the former Wausau mill site in Groveton, New Hampshire. Phase One is expected to include railcar cleaning; freight-car repair, maintenance, and inspection; interior blasting, coating, and lining; railcar storage and staging; and selected transload services. Tank-car services will be added as the required certifications and approvals are obtained. The Groveton location will give railcar owners, lessors, shippers, and railroads a closer service option in northern New England. The project will also return a former industrial site to productive use and create skilled local jobs. Northline is completing site acquisition, environmental and engineering diligence, railroad coordination, certification planning, and financing.
