Nuclear Defense and Security Expertise Division - DEND published its annual report 2025.

The Nuclear Defense and Security Expertise Division (DEND) is the French public expert on nuclear and radiological risks in the following areas: Defense Safety Protection of civil facilities, nuclear materials, and the transport of these materials against malicious acts (Nuclear Security) Implementation of international Treaties and Agreements on nuclear and chemical Non-Proliferation As part of the reform of the governance structure for nuclear safety and radiation protection to meet the challenge of reviving the nuclear sector (Law No. 2024-450 of May 21, 2024), the DEND has become a Department of the Ministry of the Armed Forces (Decree No. 2025-5).
