NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) opened the new 553-seat John Dewey Annex in Gravesend, Brooklyn, featuring 18 general education classrooms, two special education classrooms, science labs, art and music rooms, reading and speech resource rooms, a gymatorium with locker rooms, a library, an exercise room, guidance and medical suites, a full kitchen and dining areas, administrative and staff spaces, and an outdoor playground.
