Optometry Giving Sight announced that the World Sight Day Challenge starts today from now through October 31.

More than 1.22 billion people are blind or vision impaired simply because they don’t have access to an eye exam or a pair of glasses. Left untreated, vision impairment can affect a child’s ability to learn, play and grow. Optometry Giving Sight raises vital funds to support projects that train eye care professionals, establish vision centers in developing countries, and deliver eye care services to those in need.
