Penpot is the open-source design platform for teams building digital products at scale, with open standards, deeper design-code-AI collaboration, self-hosting options, and the flexibility to create workflows without vendor lock-in. Kaleidos Open Source is Penpot's mother company — a tech startup, founded in 2011, focused on generating positive impact in society through open-source software and innovation. Kaleidos has raised enough funds via its VCs to support the project and to ensure there is an amazing multidisciplinary team focused on Penpot, also able to engage with our enthusiastic community of users and contributors.
