Performance Watcher is the wealth management industry's shared standard for performance data and performance communication. Operated by IBO (Investment by Objectives) SA, an independent Swiss WealthTech founded in 2005, it serves private banks, independent asset managers, family offices and trustees. Its core is a participatory database: real, anonymised portfolios contributed by the community that uses them. Every new member makes the comparison richer. A manager can see exactly where they stand against the market, by currency, by risk profile and by peer group, without ever exposing their own data. Knowing where you stand is only half the job. The same data is turned into visual reports, readable at a glance and built to be shown to a board or investment committee internally, or to a client externally. The Perfometer makes performance easier to read and discuss. PWI+ indices, built from thousands of real discretionary portfolios and updated daily, give the market a reference it can trust. Performance Watcher Certification recognises institutions that hold themselves to that same standard of transparency and data quality. Our independence is structural, not declared. We hold no capital ties to any bank or asset manager. We measure performance. We do not sell funds, and we do not manage assets. In a sector where trust needs more than promises, Performance Watcher gives financial professionals a case they can make, backed by data they can stand behind.
