Qualitative Intelligence Systems was built by Marc Bulandr to provide immediate gains by capturing the visit as it actually happened, helping patients collect and create their medical records, helping patients understand and prepare for their next appointment, and running multiple models with a person deciding.

Qualitative Intelligence Systems, known as QIS, helps people capture and organize the information that matters most. We work with patients, foundations, health systems, and clinical research. Different needs. Same goal. The person at the center of the story stays at the center of the decisions. Five things we do, in plain language: We help patients collect and organize what they have, and what they do not have. Notes, test results, recordings, questions they forgot to ask, the things their doctor never wrote down. We help the people around the patient do the same. Caregivers, foundations, advocacy groups, care teams. The ones who carry the story when the patient cannot. We ask questions of all of it, especially the parts that are not in a spreadsheet. Interviews. Photos. Audio. X-rays. The qualitative information that gets left out because it does not fit a row and a column. We make voices available when their owners cannot be. With consent. In their words. With a human in the loop. We use AI the right way. More than one model, checking each other. Cultural and other biases reduced. A human reviews every report before anyone acts on it. Healthcare is the digital twin laggard. The published research confirms it. The discipline that transformed manufacturing has not yet reached the place where the stakes are highest, where the physical thing being twinned is a person. I founded QIS because I have spent twelve years selling and implementing digital twins across IBM and Verizon, and I have spent the last several years inside healthcare seeing why they have not yet arrived. The team around me brings the rest: patient experience, clinical practice, AI engineering, data science, regulatory expertise, and the voice of advocacy. Patent Application 63/935,100. If you recognize the gap we are trying to close, start a conversation. qisystems.ai
