Lumiker is a top class supplier of condition monitoring systems in the emerging fiber optic sensing industry. The company was founded in 2009 and is based close to Bilbao at the North of Spain. Our mission is to increase the operational availability and load whilst reducing the downtime, failure and maintenance costs of your assets through easy to install, maintenance free, precise sensors and monitoring systems that enable 24/7 remote diagnosis of any critical operational parameter. We provide innovative fiber optic sensing systems that utilise optical fibre networks to measure the critical parameters that asset operators require to predict operational behaviour under different scenarios, prevent future faults, and precisely locate them through digital techniques when they occur. We have been the first in the world to develop and patent current monitoring fibers from monomode fiber and to obtain IEEE certification of our "Optical" instrument transformers for the Power Industry, and are currently working in the next generation of technologies for the Hydrogen, Wind, Gas, and Transportation Industries.
