Industry and commerce generate 90% of the world's waste, yet more than 60% of this material is still landfilled or leaks into the environment. This represents a significant value retention opportunity, which is hampered by poor, incompatible and missing data on materials and waste in the industrial and commercial system. Resordinate addresses this challenge by enabling a fundamental shift towards recovery and reuse at scale, creating the reference data infrastructure for waste flowing through this system. Our commercial proposition is generating digital twins of the operational waste systems across large, complex enterprises (WasteMap®). Each WasteMap® deployment creates visibility and trust in operational waste data for sustainability, environment and finance teams. This enables them to optimise materials budgets, reduce cost and risk, identify efficiencies, measure impact and validate targets and reporting. Our global view of materials flows means that customers gain comparative context that their own, internal data cannot provide. For example, how their materials profile differs across regions, what ‘good’ looks like in their sector and where the genuine opportunities for circularity sit.
