S2Reason builds the system that reprices medical bills and builds the exhibit, for the people who do that work for a living. Our founder spent eight years as a paralegal at a New Jersey personal injury firm, reading billing packets by hand and building the damages exhibits for PIP arbitration. S2Reason is that job, done the same day, at two hundred pages or five thousand. Why turnaround matters. A client put it plainly: the faster his reports go out, the more work comes back, because the attorney who gets a clean report the same day sends the next file to him. Speed is how a small shop takes on more cases without hiring. What it does. It reads disordered billing documents (HCFA-1500s, UB-04s, EOBs, pharmacy receipts, liens) and returns an audit-ready Excel breakdown: every charge on its own line with provider, date of service, CPT, modifier, billed, paid, the fee-schedule or fair-and-reasonable amount, and what is outstanding. Numbers you can cite. The AI reads and groups pages. It never computes a dollar figure. Fee-schedule amounts, reductions, caps and totals are calculated by deterministic code applying the state's rules: provider category and region, bilateral at 1.5x, multiple-procedure reductions, daily caps. Off-schedule codes are priced against a UCR benchmark and flagged, never quietly estimated. Those UCR figures are not ours, which is exactly why they hold up: challenged on a number, you cite a source instead of defending an opinion. The 90/10 principle.
