This might sound like sci-fi, but it's a very real marketing question. Becky and I dug into the growing debate around advertising to AI agents in this week’s SourceCode newsletter.

The idea for SourceCode came about in 2017, written on the back of a napkin, over a drink or two (ok… definitely two) in a dingy bar in downtown San Francisco after tech PR industry veterans Greg Mondshein and Rebecca (Becky) Honeyman felt it was their time to do things a bit differently. Setting out to fix what they felt was broken in tech PR, the pair launched SourceCode with the mission of evolving public relations and marketing communications by bringing together data and insights, creative thinking, and a healthy dose of humanity. SourceCode has continued to rise the ranks, earning the agency a reputation for executing creative, needle-moving client campaigns and being one of the PR industry’s best places to work – accolades that have earned the agency more than 50 awards to date. In 2022, SourceCode officially expanded its service offerings to encompass creative and digital capabilities, solidifying the agency as a fully integrated partner for its growing roster of clients. In 2023, SourceCode opened its doors in London, marking its first official step toward global expansion. Beyond its client work, SourceCode is committed to inspiring and enabling brands, communities, and individuals to grow and change the world, building a brighter, bolder future for us all. The agency invests significantly to champion equity, social justice, and sustainable, environmentally-friendly growth, infusing our work and relationships with empathy and real human understanding. This commitment includes the operation of the Diversity Marketing Consortium, a NYS 501c3 organization that provides pro bono marketing services to diverse and underrepresented startup founders, being a member of the Clean Creatives, and achieving B-Corp certification. As SourceCode enters its next phase of growth, our mission remains to keep humanity at the center of everything we do and advise clients no matter what technological changes the future may bring.
