TEDxUCincinnati announced that Salon applications are now open for public speaking and networking events.

TEDxUCincinnati was founded at the University of Cincinnati to spread ideas and inspire students, faculty, alumni, and the surrounding community. We are a student organization working to plan, provide and continually bring a TEDx event to the University of Cincinnati each year. We want to ignite passions within our student body by providing prominent events, a network of like-minded TEDsters, and a culture of innovation. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages through nonprofit events. Independently run TEDx events share ideas in communities around the world.
