Tetra Engineering Group Inc. presented case studies on formed tee inspections across five plants at the Combined Cycle Users Group annual conference.

Tetra Engineering has been providing worldwide power plant services for more than thirty five years. We have focused on the HRSG component of power plants around the world, and supported ABB in the early 1990's when they first started producing HRSGs, and were concerned about availability issues. Tetra is an international firm with offices in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. We provide a range of power plant asset management services including; technical consulting, training, and maintenance planning. These services address issues before, during, and post construction. In addition we provide support for assessing, and improving, the likelihood of existing plants achieving their financial and reliability goals. For fossil power plants we have provided Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) related services for over 1000 HRSGs. We provide worldwide plant inspections, root cause failure analysis, and performance analysis. Tetra utilizes only experienced engineer/inspectors, made up of our senior staff. We also provide engineering guidance related services to our power plant clients, including: remaining life assessments, failure analysis, cycling analysis, cost of cycling predictions, FAC assessments, piping / hanger surveys and stress analysis, chemical analysis/audits, plant thermal performance audits, and total plant availability risk audits.
