About The Galante Architecture Studio, Inc.
The Galante Architecture Studio (TGAS) is an innovative architecture studio pursuing excellence in design, construction, and urban planning. TGAS works from two locations, Cambridge, MA, and New York City. The firm has been honored with many awards and publications. Our work consists of new construction, alterations and additions, feasibility studies and master planning. We are fortunate to count major cities and institutions among our client base, including: Amtrak, Boston, Boston Fire Department, Cambridge, Harvard University, New York City, FDNY, and many others. Our work is a careful blend of contemporary design within a given context. We take program elements and sort out spatial needs, adjacency relationships, and volumetric conditions to arrive at multiple design options. These are communicated via customary architectural drawings, but also physical models, computer models, renderings and alternative media. Upon presenting renderings to one of the Vice President’s at Harvard University, she responded “a brilliant solution to an impossible design problem.” This solution was built to exacting standards with similar praise upon completion. As LEED Accredited Professionals we specialize in sustainable practices and guide clients through the myriad of building and energy code requirements for their projects. We have designed and installed Photovoltaic Panels, Solar Hot Water Panels, Rapidly Renewable materials, and many other types of sustainable strategies.
