UK AI Council opened its inaugural membership event on Monday 14 September.

The UK AI Council is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing the safe, responsible and trusted adoption of Artificial Intelligence across the United Kingdom. We bring together leaders from industry, academia, government and the AI community to develop practical standards, governance frameworks and best practices that enable organisations to adopt AI with confidence. Our mission is to promote excellence in AI through collaboration, education, professional development and technical leadership. By supporting the creation of competency frameworks, accreditation pathways and industry guidance, we help organisations, professionals and policymakers navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape responsibly.
