In more recent years, the combination of great prices on the best products backed up by exceptional service has catapulted the company forwards to become a major regional independent and one of the fastest growing merchants in the UK. Whilst other merchants may offer a confusing mess of price lists and discounts, we simply publish our best trade price, and charge the same price to every trade customer. If we get a deal from a manufacturer, then it is available to all our customers. All we ask is that, if we don’t know you, you are patient whilst we verify your trade status, as we do not deal with retail customers. In both 2014, 2015 and 2016 the company was recognised by the London Stock Exchange as one of the UK’s 1000 most inspiring businesses, and was listed in Real Business Magazine’s “HOT 100″ fastest growing businesses. In 2015, the company was acquired from the Williams family by a consortium of management and staff, and most staff are now also shareholders. We are proud of our commitment to paying a living wage, and to sharing the profits of the business with those who work hard in it.
